What does the group size on my Lucid battery mean?
It is the BCI code for the battery's physical size and terminal layout. A Lucid tray and clamp are made for one or two specific groups, so the code has to match. We read it from your current battery and fit the same group.
Does my Lucid need an AGM battery?
If your Lucid has engine start-stop or came with AGM from the factory, yes. Older models without start-stop run well on a quality maintenance-free battery. The label on the fitted battery tells us which, and we replace it with the same technology.
My Lucid has two batteries. Do both need changing?
It depends on how they are connected. Two batteries working in parallel on a diesel truck should be replaced together. A main battery with a small auxiliary one can be dealt with separately. We test each battery on your Lucid and explain the result.
