About Exide

Carbon Boost 2.0
Carbon additives on the negative plates, first developed for Exide's start-stop batteries. The maker says they help the battery take charge faster, which matters on short trips.
AGM
Exide's sealed glass-mat range for cars with start-stop and brake energy recovery. It must be replaced with AGM again, never with a conventional battery.
EFB
An enhanced flooded design with better charge acceptance and longer life in cycling use than a standard battery, for cars with basic start-stop.

Is the Exide sold in the UAE European or Indian?
Both can be found, because two separate companies use the name. Exide Technologies makes the European ranges and Exide Industries makes the Indian ones. The label shows the range and country of manufacture, and we tell you which one we are bringing.
Is Exide Premium suitable for a car with start-stop?
No. Premium is a flooded battery for cars without start-stop. A start-stop car needs Exide EFB or Exide AGM, whichever type it was built with. Fitting a conventional battery there leads to an early failure.
Can you fit an Exide battery in a mall car park on Yas Island?
