Yes, the EV6 has a conventional 12V battery under the bonnet alongside its high-voltage pack. If the 12V battery goes flat the car will not switch on, even with a full main battery. We can test and replace it where the car is parked.

What battery does a Kia Sportage use?

Why does my Kia Picanto battery go flat so quickly?
