Where is the battery in a Lexus ES 300h?

In the ES 300h the 12V auxiliary battery is in the boot, behind the side trim, not under the bonnet. There is a jump terminal in the engine bay fuse box for boosting. We replace the battery from the boot and check the vent tube is reconnected.

Will my Lexus lose its settings when the battery is changed?

Some settings can reset, mainly the one-touch windows, sunroof and clock. Where the car allows, we keep it powered through a memory saver during the swap, and we set up again anything that resets before handing the car back to you.

How long does a Lexus LX battery last in Abu Dhabi heat?
