A Patrol takes a large JIS battery with high cranking power, mounted under the bonnet. The exact size differs between generations and engines, so we read the label on the existing battery and match capacity, terminal layout and hold-down before fitting the new one.

Why did my Nissan windows stop closing with one touch after a battery change?

The one-touch function resets whenever the battery is disconnected. It is restored by running each window fully down and up and holding the switch for a few seconds. Our technician does this before leaving, along with the clock and radio settings.

My Nissan Sunny battery keeps dying. Is it the battery or the alternator?
