Does my DS need EFB or AGM?

If your DS has start-stop, it needs whichever of the two it left the factory with, and the label on the battery tells us. Cars without start-stop take a maintenance-free calcium battery. We do not downgrade the technology, because it shortens battery life.

Will a battery change cause electrical faults on my DS?

Not when it is done in the right order. On a DS we switch off, wait for the control units to sleep, keep a backup supply connected and then swap the battery. Afterwards we reinitialise the windows and check the dashboard for warnings.

Does a DS need battery registration?

Most DS models do not need a registration step. The car relearns the battery's state over the first few drives, and start-stop returns once it is satisfied with the charge level. Where a model does require a reset, we carry it out on site.
